Colts Mathis Named AFC Defensive Player Of the Month
October 01, 2010 No commentsIndianapolis Colts defensive end Robert Mathis has been named the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Month.
The two-time Pro Bowl selection had four sacks, five quarterback pressures and one forced fumble in September as the Colts got off to a 2-1 start.
Mathis has at least one sack in each game.
It’s the second time in his career he’s earned the conference’s month award. Mathis won it last November.
