• Colts Lose Safety Bullitt For Season

    October 05, 2010 No comments

The Indianapolis Colts depleted secondary will be without safety Melvin Bullitt for the rest of the season.

Bullitt broke a bone in his right shoulder Sunday against Jacksonville according to an ESPN.com report citing an NFL source.

Bullitt replaced Bob Sanders, who has a biceps injury that is expected to keep him off the field for the rest of the regular season.

The Colts at 2-2 are also 0-2 in the AFC South for the first time since it began in 2002.

Next up for the Colts is the NFL’s last unbeaten team the Kansas City Chiefs at 3-0 at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs are coming off a bye.
