For the 14th year, Hendricks Regional Health Foundation is accepting applications from current high school seniors who are Hendricks County residents and plan to pursue a health care career at an Indiana college or university. Applications must be received by Friday, March 11. Two awards of $2,000 each will be presented in May, with one of the scholarships designated specifically for nursing. Through the years, 45 outstanding students have been awarded a total of $342,000 by Hendricks Regional Health Foundation to assist them with their post-secondary education.

Incoming Foundation board chair Joe Neher explains, “Through this scholarship program we hope to encourage local students to consider careers in health care and remain in Indiana for their post-secondary education. The scholarship application is available online at www.SupportHendricks.org in a fill-in format for students to complete and return with a copy of their high school transcript. The selection process is always difficult because of the high caliber of applicants, but we are happy to offer support to deserving students whose studies will lead them to a health-related career.”
