Coatesville Man accused of molesting 8-year-old
January 27, 2012 No commentsIndiana State Police arrested a man Thursday evening on multiple felony sexual allegations involving an 8-year-old family member, according to a news release.
Police say they arrested 37 year old David L. Williams of Coatesville, on preliminary charges of child molestation, rape and incest.
Police began their investigation on Wednesday when the victim’s mother contacted Putnam County Child Protective Services and made child molestation accusations against Williams, police say.
After further investigation, investigators believe that over the past three years, Williams engaged in various sex acts with the 8-year-old in his home.
State police investigators went to Williams’ home Thursday afternoon and several items of evidence were removed, according to police.
Williams was incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail and the investigation continues. Police say more charges are possible.
