It’s National Farmers Market Week! If you are a frequent Brownsburg Farmers Market shopper, you know the important role farmers markets play in supporting family farms, local producers and artisans. The Town of Brownsburg is proud to partner with IU Health West Hospital to bring fresh, affordable products to our local consumers each week.
We are celebrating Farmers Market Week this Thursday with special entertainment by the bluegrass group Grassland, kids’ activities and the bounce house. Thanks to vendors Hemsil Farms, Weber Farms and BFE Trading Post, shoppers will be treated to ears of roasted sweet corn (while it lasts)!
New vendors this week include Mike’s Mobile BBQ truck, Pruitt’s Handmade Kitchen Knives, and Wild Rose Soaps. A s always, shoppers will find wide selection of seasonal vegetables, naturally raised Angus beef, Berkshire pork, and lamb, and a choice of honey, jams and jelly, artisan breads and other baked goods. There are a number of vendors offering handcrafted items from candles and soaps to unique jewelry. We hope you’ll come out to support our local growers, producers and craftspeople!
