Catchings Named Player of the Week
July 20, 2010 No commentsIndiana Fever forward Tamika Catchings was named the Eastern Conference’s Player of the Week.
In three games, Catchings averaged 22.3 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. It’s her 13th such award. Catchings has scored 20 or more points in four consecutive games, tying her franchise record and leading the Fever into a narrow lead for first place in the East.
The Fever have won four of five games heading into Thursday’s game against Los Angeles at Conseco Fieldhouse.
