November 22, 2010 No commentsCascade used a 21 point second quarter to increase a 2 point lead after the opening period to a 12 point lead at the half as the Lady Cadets cruised to a 65-45 victory over Danville Friday night.
Krista Powell paced the Lady Cadets with 21 points and led all scorers. Bridget Smith also chipped in with 11 points. Danville’s Whitney Taylor was the only Lady Warrior to reach double figures for the game with 11 points.
Danville hit 6 three pointers on the evening compared to Cascade’s 1 and also went to the free throw line 32 times to Cascade’s 17. But the Lady Warriors couldn’t sink their free throws going 17 for 32 at the charity stripe while Cascade was 12 for 17.
The Lady Cadet’s are now 3-1 on the season and will play at Owen Valley tonight at 7:30 p.m. Danville falls to 0-3 and will travel to Avon Wednesday night with a tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
