Bulldogs Freshman Girls Soccer Suffer First Defeat
August 31, 2010 No commentsGirls JV Soccer Bulldogs suffered their first defeat of the season as they drop one to the Noblesville Millers 3-0. In a tough game, the Millers took control, and put the Dogs on the defensive. The Millers put up 22 shots on goal to our one. Keeper Alina Ortega managed an impressive 14 saves. To turn things around, the JV Lady Soccer Dogs posted their second win of the season with a 4 – 0 win over the Bishop Chatard Trojans the following night. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Mandie Holbrook with three goals and Mikaela Caron with one goal. Leah Bowman had two assists. Caitlin Gaub had the only keeper save for the Dogs. The girls shelled the Trojan keeper with 25 shots on goal. This puts the JV Lady Bulldogs record at 2-1-1.
