• Bulldog Volleyball Handed First Loss

    The volleyball team suffered it first loss on the season with a 2-3 decision to Lawrence North. After taking the first two sets, the Dogs allowed Lawrence to win three consecutive for the match. The offense was led once again by Katie Midkiff with 17 kills, hitting .416 with only three errors. McKenzie Mason contributed 11 kills for the only offense on the night. The defense was led by Katie Midkiff with five blocks while Emma Sulkoske lead the team with 30 digs. The volleyball team is back in action tonight at Plainfield .

    It was a tough loss for the Brownsburg JV Volleyball team last night. Their record is now 2-1. The hard fought match against Lawrence North went into three games. Kirsten Bartlett had some key attacks, while Patia Storms, Carissa Damler, Holly Storms, and Nicole Wiseman hustled in the back row. But the hustle wasn’t quite enough for the Volleydogs and the team has identified things to work on for future matches. The dogs will take on the Lady Quakers tonight at Plainfield . Come back to the Fieldhouse on Thursday night as the Dogs take on Hamilton Southeastern.

    The Freshmen girls’ volleyball team suffered their first loss against Lawrence North last night. The girls dropped the first set 20-25, rallied to win the second set 25-20, and lost in the third 9-15. Jacqueline Moore hustled around the court making great passes while Rachel Beliles contributed solid attacks and was a great setter when needed. The team will play Plainfield tonight.
