Bulldog Cross Country Teams Run Strong at Southport Invitational

The Brownsburg girls’ cross-country team ran to a runner-up finish out of 18 teams in the Southport Invitational Saturday, led by individual champion Maddie Webster. Junior Rachel Smith and sophomore Natalia Hay finished in the top-five.
The Bulldogs boys’ cross-country team also had a strong performance, placing fourth in the 18 team field. Wyatt Rondot had his strongest run of the year, placing tenth in a field almost 120 deep. Ben Hendricks followed Wyatt by only one place, and Daniel Purdy also had a top 20 finish for Brownsburg.
