• Brownsburg Parks will host “Tennis Day” on Saturday, April 28

Brownsburg Parks will host “Tennis Day” on Saturday, April 28 to show off the newly refurbished tennis courts at Arbuckle Acres Park.

To help more people use the tennis courts, a new surface has been applied and new regulation tennis, 10 & under tennis and Pickleball lines have been painted.  Brownsburg Parks has also installed a tennis wall, the only one of its kind in Hendricks County, to let tennis players work on their skills without the need for a partner.

The free Tennis Day event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will have entertainment, games, and giveaways for all ages. Representatives from the United States Tennis Association will provide tennis and Pickleball demonstrations and offer chances for free USTA memberships.

Brownsburg Parks will offer 10 & under tennis programs throughout the year to teach young players the basics of tennis on a court and with equipment designed specifically for youth. For further information on the new features to the tennis courts and future tennis programs, visit www.brownsburgparks.com.

I am a pickleball player and would like to arrange to play with others in the Brownsburg area.
