    June 28, 2013 No comments

Brownsburg Parks will hold a public information meeting at 6 p.m. July 23 on the preliminary concepts of developing a new community park on Hornaday Road and additional concepts for Williams Park and Stephens Park improvements.

The park board is looking to engage the community in preliminary conceptual designs in an effort to address unmet recreational needs identified in the 2012 community-wide survey. Features of the project include trailheads, dog park, splash pad, parking and various other types of uses. The meeting will offer residents the opportunity to review concepts and comment on the designs. The new community park project will be the town’s first new park development since Williams Park. Williams Park is home to Blast-off Playground and Maple Ridge Trail with scenic views of White Lick Creek.

The meeting will be in the Council Room of Town Hall, 61 N. Green St. Representatives from Brownsburg Parks and Context Landscape Architects will be on hand for technical questions.
