Brownsburg Parks is offering new family programs this summer, including a Parents Night Out and a Mother Son Luau.

Parents Night Out gives mom and dad a chance to have a night just for them while Brownsburg Parks keeps the kids entertained. On Friday, July 20, participants will get to see and learn about reptiles and amphibians with Indiana Jim’s Reptile Experience. The show is an interactive program featuring animals from Indiana and around the world. Kids will learn about their habitat, diet, defense, and life-cycle and take part in some fun crafts and games.

Parents Night Out is for ages 4 to 10 on Friday, July 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Eaton Hall. Brownsburg residents get a discounted fee of $10; regular fee for non-residents is $13. Registration ends on July 19.

Mother Son Luau brings the islands of the Caribbean right to Williams Park. Moms and sons ages 7 to 9 will enjoy finger foods, luau-themed games and prizes, and a Caribbean style band. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in festive beach attire.

Mother Son Luau is 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, August 3 at Williams Park Shelter 5. Brownsburg residents get a discounted fee of $20; regular fee for non-residents is $25. Registration ends on August 1.
