Brownsburg Middle School Outdoor Athletic Events/Practices Canceled Fri.
September 02, 2011 No commentsAll outside practices and events at East and West Middle Schools have been canceled for Friday 9/2 due to the high heat and humidity (heat index), according to Greg Hill, BCSC Athletic Director.
Brownsburg High School athletics will be taking precautionary steps as well. Outdoor practices will be shortened and additional cooling and water breaks will be given to all athletes. Game events will be monitored closely. Additional water and cooling towels for both teams will be provided and additional breaks will be mandated during the contest.
Parents and athletes are reminded that significant hydration is warranted before and during activity.
