• Brownsburg Library unveils new mobile app for users on the go

    January 25, 2012 No comments

According to a 2009 study by the National Institute for Health Statistics, 25% of those surveyed had only a cell phone and no landline.  It’s hard to go anywhere anymore without seeing a cell phone in use.

In keeping with that statistic, the Brownsburg Public Library announced new accessibility for mobile users.  The library now offers both a mobile web site and a new mobile application for Apple & Android owners.  Both of these services will allow users that find themselves “on the go” the chance to access library services and information with the tap of their finger.  Mobile web sites and mobile applications are expressly designed for smaller screens and help users clearly navigate through a web site to access data without straining their eyes.

For more information about mobile site or mobile app, visit the Brownsburg Public Library web site at www.brownsburg.lib.in.us  with your mobile device.  You’ll be automatically redirected to our mobile page.  Or to download the free app, visit the App Store for your device.
