The Brownsburg JV Football Team began their season much like the varsity by dominating McCutcheon 32 – 0. The offense lead by solid blocking from the O-line, backs and receivers scored five touchdowns. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Blakelynn Green, Ryan Cossette, Ian Good, Tyrelle Lismon. Connor Ludwig also added a two point conversion. Contributing to the defensive shutout, Austin Dougherty and Austin Dehham both intercepted the Mavericks’ quarterback. Connor Ludwig blocked a punt, recovered a fumble, and forced a fumble. Ryan Losee also recovered a fumble. Quinton Stubbs-Lee terrorized the Mavericks backfield while Cooper Wojcik was a lock down in the secondary.

Last night the Freshmen Football Team traveled to McCutcheon for its first game of the season. The long summer of hard work and dedication paid off as the Dogs came up victorious by a score of 35-0. Mulitple sacks and aggressive play held the Mavs scoreless throughout the entire contest! Scoring touchdowns for the Bulldogs were Jacob Lambert on a pass from Brandon Dowers, Demond Roberson on a nice piece of running around left end, Tyler Welch powering up the middle, Brandon Dowers from close range after Johnny Dotlich went about 60 yards up the middle just short of the goal line. Brandon Dowers added all four extra points on the evening. The freshmen travel to Noblesville next Monday, August 30 for a 6 o’clock game against the Millers!
