• Brownsburg Education Foundation is looking for 300 people to participate in Drive One 4 UR School program

    August 15, 2012 No comments

Attention Brownsburg community, your help is needed! The Brownsburg Education Foundation needs three hundred people to show up at Brownsburg East Middle School on Thursday, September 13th, anytime between 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Without your help our students will miss out on $12,000 or more.

The Brownsburg Education Foundation, Bill Estes Brownsburg Ford, and several other local Brownsburg businesses are partnering with BEF to donate up to $12,000 to support the children and teachers of the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. As part of the Ford Motor Company Drive One 4 UR School program, members of the local Brownsburg community can donate a few minutes of their time rather than opening up their wallets.

BEF event coordinator, Russell Hodgkin says, “It has never been easier to donate to BEF. There is no cost to you and no obligation to purchase, but we must have three hundred people join us on Thursday, September 13th.”

The one-day event takes place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Brownsburg East Middle School (BEMS), 1250 East Airport Road. Ford Motor Company requires that every person be over 18 years old and from a unique household.

All proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for graduating BHS students and to provide more funds for teacher classroom grants. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to drive a new car and help support the children and teachers of Brownsburg.
