The Brownsburg Education Foundation is excited to announce the awarding of recent District Excellence Award grants, money that impacts all grade levels and all departments across the school corporation.   This is the first of two grant cycles that the Brownsburg Education Foundation offers to teachers and staff on an annual basis.  Later this summer, InCredible Award grants will be awarded to individual teachers or small groups of teachers to complete special projects, programs and clubs at their schools.

For the 2017-2018 school year, over $56,000 was given back to the school corporation in the form of these District Excellence Awards.  “The District Excellence Awards help bring books, workstations, subscriptions, equipment and many more extras into the Brownsburg Community School classrooms. The Brownsburg Education Foundation is thrilled to be able to provide such helpful tools to the teachers in our community. The Brownsburg Education Foundation is thankful to all the donors who help make these District Excellence Awards possible,” says Grant Chairperson, Nikki Jarvis.  Money for these projects can be partly attributed to the strong commitment from local businesses and individuals who loyally support the Brownsburg Education Foundation and its mission. Without their help, the Foundation could not accomplish all that it does.
