• Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce issues notice of misrepresentation

    July 13, 2012 1 comments

It’s been brought to our attention that area businesses are being solicited by a company claiming to represent a Brownsburg Selection Committee for 2012 Best of Brownsburg awards.

They then provide a link to order a plaque for purchase (up to $200.00).

    Fraudulent award
We know that it is not legitimate as the Brownsburg Parks and Recreation Department received a notification for Best Recreation Facility for the Brownsburg Community Recreation Center which hasn’t been open in years.
While this is not necessarily illegal and you are welcome to purchase the awards, please be advised that this is merely a sales ploy.
    Thank you,
    Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce
