Brownsburg and Indianapolis Water extend voluntary lawn watering ban through August 5th
July 29, 2011 No commentsThe Town of Brownsburg is extending its request that water customers stop watering their lawns through Friday, August 5, due to the continued lack of rain and extreme temperatures. Indianapolis Water is also asking customers not to water lawns and to conserve water in other daily activities such as washing dishes or clothes, or bathing and brushing teeth.
Cutting lawn-watering activities will help the utilities maintain adequate water pressure for customers and firefighting activities. Both Brownsburg and Indianapolis Water will reevaluate the requests to cease all lawn watering next Friday.
