The Brownsburg Public Library is excited to welcome back “Chairs for a Cure”.  Bid on a beautiful, hand-painted chair based on a book.  This year we have three (3) chairs to choose from based on the books “Fancy Nancy”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, and “The Wizard of Oz”.  All of the proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Bids will be accepted through Friday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m.

This is the third year for this event and was the brainchild of Lori Taylor-Woodcock, Visual Arts teacher at Brownsburg High School.  She along with her students create these amazing chairs.  Lori was inspired by the loss of a family member and decided to use her artistic talents to give back.

To view the chairs visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/brownsburgpubliclibrary or stop by the library located at 450 South Jefferson Street, Brownsburg.  The chairs are located in the center of our library.  For more information, contact us at (317) 852-3167, option 2.
