BBOP sponsor’s Brownsburg’s 8th annual Strawberry Festival Monday
June 30, 2011 No commentsBrownsburg Band and Orchestra Parents (BBOP) will sponsor the town’s eighth annual Strawberry Festival on July 4.
The event will coincide with the Brownsburg Lions Club’s Fourth of July celebration and parade.
Serving begins at 9 a.m. at three locations along the parade route: Odell Street and Tilden Drive; in the parking lot of Hendricks County Bank on Green Street; and in front of Town Hall at 61 N. Green St.
Prices range from $1 to $5 and ingredients include strawberries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and vanilla pound cake.
Proceeds from the festival will help finance instrumental music activities for Brownsburg students in grades six through 12.
