ARREST WARRANT ISSUED IN SEXUAL BATTERY CASE
July 23, 2010 No commentsPutnam County—Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division at the Putnamville Post have
completed a nearly one-week investigation into allegations that an employee of a local ambulance
service inappropriately touched a female patient and then without authorization, removed several
pictures from the victim’s cell phone. The result of the investigation revealed the alleged acts occurred
in Putnam County and caused the issuance of a Putnam County arrest warrant for the employee.The warrant has been issued for Jason A. Jordan, age 27, a resident of Terre Haute at the time of the
allegations, for one count of Sexual Battery, Class D felony and one count of Theft, Class D felony. He
was working for Trans Care Ambulance Service in Terre Haute during the alleged events.The investigation originated on July 12, 2010, when the 26 year old female victim complained that
during her transport from St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil, IN to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis,
IN, she was inappropriately touched in private areas of her body and personal photographs stored on her
cell phone were sent to another person’s cell phone without her authorization. The victim alleges that
the lone Trans Care Ambulance employee attending to her in the medical service area of the ambulance
performed the alleged events against her will during the trip, just after noon on July 12, 2010.Since the issuance of the warrant on Thursday, July 22, 2010, Indiana State Police detectives have
been unable to locate Jason Jordan and have reason to believe he has fled the State of Indiana. He may
possibly be with his wife, Jamie Lea Jordan, age 22. The couple or Jason Jordan may be operating a
Maroon 2004 Ford Taurus, Indiana Plate number ZP5542 or a Gray 2006 Ford Mustang, Indiana Plate
number RQ3582.ISP Detective Tony Guinn is the lead investigator. He was assisted by ISP Sergeant Troy Stanton and
