Three people were sent to the hospital overnight after a wreck on Interstate 70.

Police in Hendricks County say weather may have been a factor in the crash that happened about three miles west of State Road 267 around 2 a.m. this morning.

Officers say an SUV was traveling westbound on I-70 just west of the Plainfield exit when the driver lost control and collided with a truck.

The accident left both vehicles in a ditch. The drivers and an infant child were taken to nearby hospitals to be checked out. They’re expected to be OK.
