All I-70 westbound lanes at Ronald Reagan closed after tanker overturns

I-70 westbound lanes at Ronald Reagan Parkway are closed Monday morning, after a tanker overturned.

Police said the tanker was carrying uranium. However, the container was not damaged and the uranium did not leak.

The driver has slight injuries and was taken to IU Health West Hospital for observation. Police said there is slight damage to the truck and guardrail.

I-70 westbound lanes are temporarily closed as crews work to pull the tanker out of a ditch.
